We know you have seen many messages on Coronavirus and might have developed some fatigue. We are reaching out to you because this has become real in our world; Coronavirus has struck so many in our community and our loved ones.
Living in Seattle, at the epicenter of this pandemic, we find ourselves’ asking, “What is our role in this moment”?
We believe there is an imperative for all of us to work together to find solutions. Our extraordinary team at A ltoura are in a unique position to provide support to companies or organizations, private or public, that are leaping to address the biggest challenge of our time: finding a vaccine and supporting our health care workers.
Starting today, we are offering free licenses to the Altoura Immersive Reality Platform (VR/AR/MR) and at-cost training and digital twin design services to companies that are working on a COVID 19 vaccine or manufacturing supplies, such as testing kits, N-95 masks and ventilators, for our health care workers.
We understand companies must quickly hire new employees to meet these critical shortages. These employees must be trained on sophisticated equipment in perfectly sterile environments. Production lines can’t be taken offline in order to train new employees onsite. Instead, innovative companies are leveraging extended reality to train new employees inside a “digital twin” of their actual production line. Employees can safely train using mobile devices, headsets or Windows computers. They can even train in the safety of their own home, while networked together with a virtual instructor.
We are already working with customers like Thermo Fisher Scientific, Walgreens and Microsoft. We want to offer you the same support as you pivot to be part of the response because we know that our immersive training software and design services can provide a layer of safety and productivity.
Altoura training raises learner engagement – accelerating learning, increasing retention, and reducing errors. Since these learning experiences are delivered immersively, they have the added benefit of reducing the need for in-person interactions and travel. Both factors contribute to the safety of the trainer and the trainee, and, as we face this pandemic, they can literally be the difference between life and death.
Now, we see an added benefit: our VR/AR/MR technology can shorten the distance between each of us, while we still maintain the CDC recommended distances.
These days, we all ask ourselves, “What can we do to help - in real terms, in real time and as a community”? Please reach out to us if you are interested in working together. We are here for you. email@example.com
